favorite positions and copper gymnastics

For this series of works I made  irregular vases, challenging balance and equilibrium. Succeeding and also failing. I used copper glazes and slips, and used a salt firing technique. The pieces are placed on a plinth with a copper metal sheet surface. What happens when a material in its mineral form reflects itself in its metal form?
